Introducing new features on northamerica.covetrus.com, Compare & Save and Auto-Substitution

Covetrus customers now have additional tools when shopping online to help select quality veterinary products at affordable prices for practices while saving money AND time!

Compare & Save

Items displaying the Compare and Save icon (to the left) have a lower priced comparable product. Click the icon to reveal the savings!

The northamerica.covetrus.com website now notifies online shoppers during a product search if the item they are looking at has a comparable, but lower priced alternative per unit that they may want to try.

Follow the steps below to begin saving money and time with Compare & Save

In the top right corner of the Covetrus North America homepage, search for the item you would like to purchase. Your search results will be populate. If an item is eligible for Compare & Save, the Compare & Save icon will show below this item's price. Click on the icon.

A window will then open displaying the original item you searched for as well as the comparable product at a lesser price. Click "Add to Cart" if you wish to purchase the suggested comparable item. 

Exit out of the Compare & Save pop-up window and navigate to your shopping cart in the top right corner of the page. The suggested product will now show in your shopping cart allowing you to move forward with your purchase.

Auto-Substitution

Items displaying the Auto-Substitution icon (to the left) are able to be set up for reoccurring switches for savings with comparable products.

Do you want to set it and forget it? Our auto-substitution lets you do just that. To take advantage, check out the Auto-Substitution page under your settings in “My Account” on the website. You will have the ability to choose which items you regularly want to have swapped for a lower priced alternative, without having to make the change each time you order, giving you the confidence that you won’t miss out on savings.

Both Compare & Save and Auto-Substitution will show you alternative, comparable products with savings of at least five percent based on the product’s unit of measure.
