Stablelab detects and measures Serum Amyloid A (SAA), a major acute phase reactant. Under normal healthy conditions, SAA is not detectable. However, levels increase rapidly and dramatically within 12-24 hours after the onset of infection or certain other inflammatory conditions. The severity of disease is reflected in the level of SAA elevation, making StableLab an excellent health management tool for monitoring disease progression and response to treatment.
